ABOUT ME

James Horace Carter, III.  is a professional photographer and videographer who has been capturing time for more than a decade.  As CEO of JC’s Photography and Videography, he has capitalized on his diverse experience in providing quality photos and videos as well as advertisement and marketing for businesses and organizations.  Mr. Carter has created a platform in marketing and advertisement to promote, share expertise, seize business opportunities, and interact with clients.  His innovative and unparalleled ability to harness the power of time has made him a sought after media consultant. 

 

James has earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics from Alcorn State University, as well as a degree in Electronics Technology from ITI Technical College, Baton Rouge, LA.  Equipped with over 15 years of experience, James has successfully, researched  information, implemented strategic plans and directives in regard to communication methods and media using editorial policies and has developed and produced countless  external communications as needed (i.e. weddings, portraits, advertising, social media, print, etc.)

 

Mr. Carter began his career as an Audio/Video Technician Supervisor for the Greater King David Baptist Church.  While there, he produced quality printed bulletins for services of worship, including special seasonal services, events, newsletters, including general brochures and flyers and oversaw production of outsourced materials.  James is now Media Director for St. Matthew Baptist Church, Boyce, LA and Media Instructor for Peabody Magnet High School, Alexandria, LA.  

 

In 2006, he was led to expand his knowledge and vision to establishing JC’s Photography & Videography.  Charged with staying abreast of the best practices in communications methods and technology, James continues to maintain the highest level of customer support and satisfaction and his ability to provide sound oversight and consultation to contractors regarding communications projects is impeccable.
